"Crema", and intense flavour are the characteristics of a good espresso, a gourmet coffee. They are the results of the expert hands that prepare it, the quality of the raw coffee and above all the roasting and the blending.

At the Nuova Idealcaffè, the secrets of the blends are known only by the owners. Ingredients to produce the Ideal coffee are:

High quality raw material
Green coffee roasting machine The best Arabica and Robusta green coffee beans. The company oversees the selection of high quality green coffee beans that are purchased by a certified company.

Each week, bags of green beans arrive after their long trip by boat from all over the world: Brazil, The Ivory Coast, India...

Italian roasting technology
The production plant covers 1200 square meters and is equipped with computerized machines that guarantee a consistent blend. Each week the production process starts with the roasting machine where, depending on their origin, the green beans are heated to a temperature of about 300 °C for a period of 10 - 15 minutes. Right away we move them to huge silos under a controlled atmosphere. The roasted beans are then selected to make a blend that is either packed or grounded and vacuum sealed to keep it fresh until the consumption. Huge sylos for the roasted coffee storage

The touch of an artist The Nuova Idealcaffè "artist" perfectly knows the right roasting time and temperature for each variety of coffee so that it produces a nice "Crema" at the coffee shop. They compose the blends that, however distributed to consumers, always give the same individual flavour: the Diamond Bar, the Golden Bar, the Silver Bar, the Caffè Perla and the Calìcaffè.
